Hello folks. A new PHP community has been created and we're looking for young programmers for the support team of our forum. There is no monetary reward. The only thing you get is access to a group of programmers you can exchange experience with.

We are looking for programmers with a solid base in PHP programming and web development. Linux/*NIX knowledge or other programming languages are a big plus.

It's not a job, with no fixed requirements or obligations. NONE! But you usually need to get online once a day for 30 minutes to see what's going on. Being member of the support team means you will concentrate on answering questions, otherwise you simply moderate, as on any forum: moving, deleting, editing threads and so on. Usually the team members keep their browser and IRC client open anyway. If you see a problem you can handle, you help out, otherwise not. When you have yourself a problem, you post it on the forum. That's the deal.

Did I say IRC client? Yes, we also communicate live on freenode, where the roots of the community lie. This also means that the community is built in the open source spirit. So don't take it like doing someone a favour, except yourself!

Persons interested in doing this are invited to describe their experience with programming/scripting languages and development platforms in English.

The answer will be an important measure to sort out candidates. I will contact the accepted candidates via PM for details.
