Responsibilities:

DATABASE OPERATIONS:

ˇ Monitor and troubleshoot SQL server instances to assure efficient and reliable operation.
ˇ Collaborate with developers to tune queries and optimize indexes for dependable high-throughput operation.
ˇ Improve the replication process
ˇ Deploy new and modified SQL objects from the development servers to testing to the production servers.

DATABASE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT:

ˇ Collaborate with developers to modify and improve the logical data models for enhanced reliability, security and performance.
ˇ Planning, design, and development of database objects to support client-driven customizations
ˇ Design and implement the physical databases among various instances of SQL server to improve integrity and performance while facilitating development, backup and recovery.

SQL SECURITY AND USER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

ˇ Oversee and monitor the establishment and maintenance of user accounts.
ˇ Set up and manage user accounts.
ˇ Help-desk for field force

Cerinte:


ˇ 3+ years of DBA experience with MS SQL Server
ˇ Solid experience with MS SQL Replication
ˇ Strong skills in writing and optimizing T-SQL stored procedures, functions and triggers.
ˇ Experience and proficiency with Analysis Services
ˇ Candidates should also have experience in VB.Net, ASP.Net, OLAP, COM, DCOM and Crystal Reports.
ˇ Proficiency in backup design and operation
ˇ Good communication and collaborative skills
